TALKING WITH STONES
is an eco-somatic experimental site-specific installation and dance/movement performance piece that explores the interconnectedness of humans with the more-than-human world. It embraces an animated and vibrant world in which every form of matter is alive.
Stones are regarded as relatives, sharing stories of longing and belonging. Through gentle and deliberate movements, the piece represents an ongoing exploration of our relationships with the worlds- both- around and within us. It serves as a call to action, a tribute to love and community, and it is a quest for spirituality.
In addition to the storytelling, the piece invites spectators to actively participate and co-create with their very own personal approach. Stepping out from a plain viewer perspective into a truly transcending and immersive experience.
The piece originated in the unique exhibition of the project CADAVRE EXQUIS and evolved into a travelling performative dance/movement piece.

TALKING WITH STONES - ATACAMA DESERT

to dream, touch, sing and dance the world into existence.

There is a dream of the stone before its emergence in the world. In this dreamtime we are all just the same potency, dream, potential.
Through sensual touch of the stone we relate to this inner dreaming , potential, vibration.

TERRA///

After TALKING WITH STONES the project TERRA/// is the next evolutionary step, a work in progress and currently in an experimental research and development phase.
TERRA/// goes beyond mere entertainment, inviting audiences of diverse backgrounds to engage with movement, land and rhythm.
Integrating participatory elements for the audience, landart installations but and drawing from eco-somatic practices, the dance installation series fosters a sense of belonging and interconnectedness with the Earth. We find within this piece immersive elements and also the elements wind, earth, water, fire themselves, which naturally guide us into a state of connection and tangibility.
The touch of stone, the weight of them on our body. The purposeful placement of them into space, the feeling of soil on your feet - all has meaning and agency.
Through accessible choreography and immersive storytelling, "TERRA" evokes a profound sense of rootedness, reminding audiences of our shared origins and responsibilities towards the planet. Grounded in collaboration and a deep reverence for nature, "Terra" stands for crossing borders providing us with feelings of hope and unity in a
world increasingly disconnected from its natural rhythms.
